Diminished value
Diminished value is defined as a damaged vehicles pre-accident market value vs. its after repair market value. You can file a diminished value claim from the at-fault party’s insurance carrier if your vehicle has no prior accident history. The documents you will need to file a Diminished Value Claim are the police report showing you were not at fault in the accident and you will need a copy of the completed repair order showing all repairs to the vehicle. You will also need a copy of a vehicle history report, like a carfax report showing the accident on the report. Once you have all the required documents please upload them for a free claim review. Upon your agreement we will generate a Diminished Value Appraisal report and file it with the insurance carrier on your behalf.
